Three types of skirts to try this Autumn/Winter season

Three types of skirts to try this Autumn/Winter season:

1. Asymmetrical – short or long, an irregular hem on the bottom of your skirt is a hot trend right now and looks great on all body types. Try a button-up white shirt or a tucked in cashmere jumper for a day look with thick tights and ankle boots. For evening try a vest with cropped blazer and heels. Styling your hair asymmetrically to balance the outfit.

2. Pencil Skirt – a pencil skirt looks fabulous on everyone, makes you look taller and your waist skinnier….what’s not to like about them? You should wear a pencil skirt with a high heel to look as tall as possible. If you are short you can try matching your tight color to your footwear to look taller. Tuck in your shirt to show the beautiful shape of the skirt and try pairing with crop tops or cropped blazers.

3. Miniskirt – the miniskirt is fun and can be dressed up or down. Pair with your favorite jumpers and trainers or glam it up with heels, a fancy vest and a leather jacket. Try an oversized cut top, big earrings and chunky ankle boots for a casual look. Throw a gillet overtop to change the look again!

Why not try a new print this Autumn/Winter season? Paisley, leopard or checked patterns are on trend at the moment. Navy and burgundy are nice choices of color, especially with a slight sheen to the fabric as we enter holiday season. The cuts of suits, jackets and jeans continue to be slim and well-fitted. Outwear with removable fur/corduroy/sheepskin collars provide utility and versatility to your wardrobe.
